2 i. Evie Lillian² Ramsey (#323) was born in Granville County, North Carolina May 09, 1897. Evie died October 31, 1975 in North View, Mecklenburg County, Virginia, at 78 years of age. Her body was interred in South Hill, Mecklenburg County, Virginia, Crestview Memorial Park. She married Houston Joyner Whitten in Mecklenburg County, Virginia, December 17, 1913. (Houston Joyner Whitten is #85.) Houston was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia July 20, 1887. Houston was the son of Augustus Devereaux (Dev) Whitten and Mary Jane Clements. Houston died October 5, 1967 in North View, Mecklenburg County, Virginia, at 80 years of age. His body was interred in South Hill, Mecklenburg County, Virginia, Crestview Memorial Park.
