James Jackson Ogden and Elizabeth Ogden had the following children:

2 i. Hallie Purrah² Ogden (#1991). She married James Corbett Clements in Washington, D.C., September 3, 1909. (James Corbett Clements is #1990.) James was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia March 25, 1892. James was the son of Charles Wesley Clements and Sarah Alice Clements. James died February 1, 1971 in Vesuvius, Rockbridge County, Virginia, at 78 years of age. His body was interred in Steele's Tavern, Augusta, Virginia, Mount Carmel Cemetery. 3 ii. Elma Gertrude Ogden (#2523).

4 iii. Lillie Belle Ogden (#1989) was born October 7, 1886. Lillie died February 10, 1963 at 76 years of age. She married John Wesley Clements in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, January 8, 1908. (John Wesley Clements is #1988.) John was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia August 27, 1887. John was the son of Charles Wesley Clements and Sarah Alice Clements. John died April 4, 1967 at 79 years of age. His body was interred in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia. (See John Wesley Clements for the continuation of this line.)

5 iv. Carrie Mae Ogden (#447) was born September 13, 1891. She married Maynard Curtis Whitten December 27, 1917. (Maynard Curtis Whitten is #89.) Maynard was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia April 23, 1897. Maynard is the son of Augustus Devereaux (Dev) Whitten and Mary Jane Clements.
