Jonathan Vernon had the following child:

2 i. Elizabeth A.² Vernon (#1491) was born in Charlotte County, Virginia June 3, 1812. Elizabeth died March 22, 1885 at 72 years of age. She married John William Jennings Jr. (John William Jennings Jr is #1489.) John was born in Buckingham County, Virginia November 26, 1805. John was the son of John William Jennings Sr and Ann Mariah Walton. John died March 1, 1886 in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, at 80 years of age. His body was interred Jenning's Family Cemetery.
