Mom and Jay

I was the one hauling the camera around, but Nathaniel took this, and actually, aside from the sun in our eyes making us grimace a bit, it's not bad!  

Like I said, we took the elevator up to the top of the pedestal.  We wandered around, looked at the view, and walked over to each little "information" plaque and had Nat read them to us.  Then we galumphed back down the stairs and headed back to the ferry.  Of course, this meant more "line-standing", but Nat managed to have himself a good time jumping and leaping around. (Personally I think he wants to get a job with those acrobats that hang out by the ferry dock in Battery Park!)
