Times Square "Wandering around" was pretty much how we spent the rest of our second day in NYC. Our dear friend Jay was kind enough to play guide for us. (He's so sweet!) When I realized we were driving through Times Square I guess I got a little hyper... this photo was taken literally in the middle of the street. HOW, you ask? Nathaniel's odd Mommy-Person decided to be a real weirdo and stick her head out the window of the car and take pictures, that's how!! LOL See that building with the reddish clock on it? The one with the scaffolding on it? That's the one that has the "Ball" drop from a spindle on it's top, on New Year's Eve! (Never, not in a zillion years, could you convince me to wander Times Square on New Year's Eve!! Uh-uh! NO way!!!) Although, if you ARE interested in such things, there is an actual web site devoted to the New Year’s Eve celebration they hold there. Apparently it's organized, not just a mob that shows up to watch the Ball drop! The things you learn wandering around NYC, huh? http://www.timessquarebid.org/new_year/index.htm
