Welcome to my course. Over the next six weeks, you will learn the fundamentals of web site design. From tools to techniques, you will explore HTML basics, typography and graphics for the web. In addition, you will learn about adding multimedia functionality to your pages using Dreamweaver. The course will deal with technical as well as aesthetic issues of web site development.

You will be expected to demonstrate your understanding of the basic principles of web design. You must be able to work with the tools, software and technology. You should be able to use basic HTML programming to design your own web site. You should be able to add graphics, functional navigation systems, and multimedia into your web site. Finally, you should feel comfortable designing and producing professional-quality web sites on your own.
