| This GG1 is a VERY special one. "Rivets" was the prototype locomotive, with a special riveted skin. It sits now, in the yard at the PRR museum in Strasburg PA. They have no plans to actually move it inside, as the 4935 is already inside, and they do not actually own the 4800. It is on loan from another group right now. It is showing some weather damage, and some rust, but is far from unsalvageable at this point. |
