Big Rock Ridge is a part of Marin County Open Space District. These areas of undeveloped land are a real treasure for us.

Here are some pictures of our packing trip to the top of the ridge. The very steep hike up takes about an hour. (We camped at 1449 ft.) As you can see, the views are spectacular. We saw buzzards, hawks and lots of lizards on our trip.
