We had picked out the most beautiful spot on the Russian River near the ocean to sneak away to on Friday night. We paddled around under the stars for a while only to end up back at the house, eventually involved in an acoustical jam with those still awake on the sun deck. It was a great day and a great night.

... Anyway, we did spend a night at our secret place on Monday night. The cows and sheep across the river echoed messages to each other throughout the night. On Tuesday, we relaxed, fished and headed back to Marin.
