Probably most Americans are familiar with the exploits of Jeffrey Dahmer, who was sentenced to jail time for several murders in which he ate some of his victims. However many may not have heard of Daniel Rakowitz, who was accused of murdering his roomate, Monika Beerle. There is evidence to suggest that the murder had occult overtones and may have involved cannabilism.

An article from Newsday, February 23, 1992 by David Kocieniewski sums up Dan Rakowitz best with the line: "Plenty of homeless people, rock and rollers and part-time marijuana dealers had his shaggy appearance. But only Rakowitz carried around a live rooster with a sock over its head."

Now you know who to watch out for.
