9/27: Orny and 80,000 other people enjoyed a perfect afternoon and an excellent free performance of Beethoven's Ninth on Boston Common by the Boston Symphony Orchestra in celebration of Seiji Ozawa's 25th season as music director of the BSO.

9/19: At an abbreviated free show at Boston City Hall Plaza, Orny was reminded what a kick-ass percussive mindfuck Blue Man Group are! Also checked out the Annual Festival of India on the Boston Common, which disappointed, turning out to be nothing more than a Hare Krishna fest.

9/13: DargonDargonZine began printing stories from our summer writing contest! Our new issue, DargonZine 11-7, features stories by Dafydd, Jim Owens, and newcomer Don Will.

9/12: Ska show at the Middle East, featuring Beat Soup as tight as I've ever seen them, and Bim Skala Bim as bad as I've ever seen them. Sound check!

9/6: Orny's Springboard was updated.

9/6: What a way to finish the summer out! Orny took his new bike and spent the afternoon making like a lizard yet again, this time at South Boston's very unique Castle Island!

9/5: Finished our Maine vacation by making like lizards on the rocks at Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, then zipping down the coast to Popham Beach.

9/4: Went to Camden for Windjammer Weekend and climbed Mt. Battie and Mt. Megunticook.

9/3: Began a Maine vacation with Inna by visiting the Windsor Fair.

Mongoose8/27: On his way to a weekend in Maine, Orny picked up two new leather jackets and a new Mongoose Crossway 850 hybrid to replace his old Fuji road bike.

Studio Archetype8/25: Sapient's new Web site went live at the same time as the company acquired Clement Mok's Studio Archetype, a cool Internet/brand design firm!

8/15: Another crazy Mono Puffnight out? Orny had the pleasure of poking his head into a party held by his coworkers' Dave & Betsy, and then made the pilgrimage to TT the Bears to see TMBG's John Flansburgh's side project, Mono Puff!

MidEast 8/13: Night of the living dead! Went to three separate concerts! At 6pm, saw local mainstream alternative favorites Letters to Cleo in a free show on the banks of the Charles at the Hatch Shell. After a brief pizza intermission, at 9pm we headed over to TT the Bears to see a pre-New England Ska Festival Battle of the Bands, including both my favorite local ska bands, Beat Soup and the Brass Monkeys! Then, just before midnight, we snuck next door to the Middle East to see industrial dance pioneers Front 242. It was a helluva night, and that's why I love Boston!

8/8: Spent the weekend up in Maine, visiting my mother and playing golf, as well as catching a production of "The Heiress", a classic play based on Henry James' novel "Washington Square", put on by the Theater at Monmouth.

Isha 8/6: Helped my friend Jeanie bring home her new kittens, Ed & Isha!

8/5: Went to a team event at North East Brew Co.

8/4: Went to local Irish bar Tir Na Nog and whiled the night away having an acoustical moment with Mike Barrett.

8/1: DargonDargonZine 11-6 was distributed, featuring continuations of stories begun in DargonZine 11-5 and the long-awaited publication of "Maiden Cloth".

7/31: More music? Went and saw a great show at TT the Bear's featuring local ska bands Dow Jones & the Industrials, the Allstonians, and newfound favorites, the Brass Monkeys!

7/30: Went and saw They Might Be Giants play a free concert at Boston's Hatch Shell, then turned around and went to Johnny D's to see Andrew Bird's Bowl of Fire, a swing band fronted by a member of the Squirrel Nut Zippers.

Sneaker7/29: Attended a cool performance by Cambridge's classical freaks "Composers in Red Sneakers".

7/20: Orny went to Boston's House of Blues to see reggae legend Toots and the Maytals for an awesome night of dancing and stuff!

Statue7/19: Orny made a pilgrimage back to the place of his birth, the fishing port of Gloucester, Mass, hanging out at a local beach and watching the schooners sail by.

7/18: Orny attended the 11th Boston Fetish Flea Market, picking up a great book on polyamory called "The Ethical Slut" from Greenery press.

7/16: Orny's employer, Sapient, announced record second quarter results (which again exceeded Wall Street analysts' expectations).

7/7: Created the OrnothLand Archive.

7/6: Orny went to Boston's Government Center along with 40,000 other people to hear a free performance by the Barenaked Ladies.

7/4: Orny had the pleasure of viewing Boston's Fourth of July fireworks from the usual VIP location: the 8th floor of Sapient's Cambridge office.

7/1: Orny finds himself enjoying a new romantic entanglement and perforce embracing complexity!
