Culture3/29: Visited the Middle East with Inna to see Pressure Cooker yet again, and reggae stars Culture.

3/27: After years of winter cycling, had my first major wipe-out on springtime black ice. Impressive bruise, but fortunately no serious injury.

Condo3/23: Had an amazingly painless and successful closing on my new condo in Copley Square! Celebrated Pressure Cookerby going out to dinner with Inna and then seeing the Pressure Cooker at Harpers Ferry. A house page is coming soon!

3/21: Invited Inna & Jeanie along for my pre-closing inspection.

3/20: Celebrated the vernal equinox with Inna with a visit to Castle Island.

3/17: Clocked my 1000th mile on my new bike. It took me 2 years to accomplish that on my old bike, but only five months on the new one; and five winter months at that!

Owens3/9: Caught up briefly with DargonZine writer Jim Owens, who was in town for training.

3/8: EarnestInna joined me in seeing local rocksteady band Steady Earnest at Harpers Ferry.

Dargon3/4: Distributed DargonZine 14-2, with four more great new stories!

3/3: Quick trip to Maine to visit family.

3/2: Well, Sapient the slaughter in the Internet services sector finally caught up to us, as Sapient announced layoffs.

2/24: Attended my friend Jeanie's big three-oh birthday party.

2/21: Celebrated my sixth anniversary of working for Sapient.

Dargon2/4: Began DargonZine's 17th year online with the distribution of DargonZine 14-1!

CQueen2/2: Had dinner with Inna at Bombay Bistro and caught Carol Queen's "Peep Show" at the Coolidge.

2/1: Got the signed P&S for my condo!!!

1/28: Met Inna at NEC and had my reluctantly Skull!but increasingly negative impression of contemporary classical music reinforced. Then went home and shaved my head. photo

1/27:Pressure Cooker Made my first visit to Harpers Ferry, and caught local reggae faves Pressure Cooker.

1/24: Big day! Condo inspection in the morning, then spent the evening with Inna, attending a performance Cool Rulerof Beethoven by the acclaimed Borromeo String Quartet at NEC, and a show at the Middle East by reggae's "Cool Ruler", Gregory Isaacs (no relation to the other Cool Ruler!)

1/19: Despite a minor head injury at work, got my new Bicycling Page up.

1/17: Received Condo a signed copy of my condo offer! Celebrated with dinner at Outback in Malden with Jeanie. photo

1/16: Evening at the New England ConservatoryJordan Hall as Chair of NEC's historical performance department, John Gibbons, presented J.S. Bach's Goldberg Variations on harpsichord.

1/15: Made my first offer for the condo.

1/14: End of a 2½ year relationship. Sort of...

1/14: After seeing 72 condos over the past year, saw one that I'm interested in buying.

1/13: GumbootsDinner at Brew Moon and then went to see South African rhythm troupe Gumboots with friends Monnette, Jason, and Cindy.
