Comments for: Anna Catharina Magda. Niemann Hinrichsen (Katherina)
See newspaper clipping, "words of heartfelt thanks" from the
family of Peter Hinrichsen, dated 4 December, 1912 in
Neuborm, Germany. The date is a few days after the death of
Hans Niemann of Neuborm.
Thus Peter Hinrichsen is likely the husband of Kathrina
Niemann Hinrichsen, a daughter of Hans Niemann.
The above is confirmed by the black bordered death
announcement for Hans Niemann, listing surviviors as
including Peter Hinrichsen and Wife (nee Niemann).
Tams letter of Sept. 8, 1991:
Only your grandfather [Johannes Niemann] and [his
sister] Catarina received ... money [from Hans Niemann's
will]. [Catarina] received the Farm which was sold before
the first World War. The Birthhouse [Farmhouse?] is still
standing. It may have received a new brick wall [for its
outside].
Per Werner Tams, Jan 15, 1994:
Grete Hansen, daughter of Anna Niemann Hansen who died
in childbirth when Grete was born, lived in the Hinrichsen
family as a daughter with her aunt Katherina.
(The children of Grete Hansen relate that Anna Niemann
died of tuberculosis some time after Grete Hansen's birth.
See also Hans (John) Niemann's family notes.)
Per Renate Marquardt:
Heinrich Passig came from Friedrichholm, Schleswig-
Holstein and emigrated to USA where he was an officer in the
US Army.
