The Business and Professional Women's Club of Greater Hartford,
Connecticut
The BPW Mission is to fully participate in the education and
promotion of Equity and Economic Self-Suffiency for all women. On the
local and state levels our practice of 'Women Helping Women' through
networking, leadership, legislature, and community efforts opens
doors and produces powerful results.

Networking Within Our Community
The Hartford College for Women, The Counseling Center
Deanna Mancino, M.A., N.C.C. met with us to discuss the "Computer
and Employability Skills" Training programs at the center. We
collected quality, professional clothing donations for the Clothing
Project to provide interview-ready attire for graduate candidates of
these programs.
Growth, Services, and Individual Development Programs
The Connecticut Partnership for Long-term Care Program
Mary Pettigrew, Assistant Project Director of the State of CT
Office of Policy and Management Policy Development and Planning
Division provided our group with a brief overview of long-term care
policies.
