- History: This site was a pro bono project made for a group of scientists that wanted to communicate their work. It was entirely done in Flash. It relies heavily on actionscript for user interactivity. Layers are embedded for clarity.

- History: This site was developed from a storyboard into an interactive ecard. It was aimed at young children that wanted friendly characters

- User's choice: Stay in tree, or drop off tree.
- Choice one: Cat enters house. Dracula rises
from coffin. Cat escapes up chimney. Saved
by a Witch.
- Pumpkin takes you back or to end.
- Choice two: Cat falls off tree, lands in mud. Saved by skeleton. Skeleton dances with cat.

- Demonstrates: a complex website with many different modes of interactivity. Uses space
efficiently and creatively.
- History: This site was a dynamic solution to the problem of displaying many photographs while maintaining an accessible, attractive design. It includes photos of relatives, popup stories, and outside links.

Name: Personal Website
- Type: Interactive website.
- Demonstrates: An embedded Flash slideshow and within-page links. Technical expertise with flash masks; expertise with photograph optimization.
- History: This site included many photos that were
not originally meant to form a group. The display required coordination of colors from many photographs. The layout creates a dynamic look
with short text to hold the interest. All photographs were composed personally and required rendering and/or optimization in photoshop.

- Demonstrates: a complex composition, dynamic layout; technical use of photoshop vignettes; integration of rollovers and outside links.
- History: This site was created to express the rich creativity and earthiness of Mexican sculptures. It includes three pages of vibrant colors that capture
the playfulness of the sculptures through the use
of dynamic layout, colors, and coordination of photo vignettes.

- Demonstrates: a creative rendition of artistic cuisine. Photoshop rendered photos and rollover links. Integration of complementary colors provide ambience and create an attractive site.
- History: This site was designed to highlight the uses of chili peppers. The colors were designed to enhance the appetite and bring out the beautiful colors of chilis.

Name: Oregon Newsletter Website
- Type: Interactive website.
- Demonstrates: creative rendition of a newsletter layout. Integration of subtle colors provide ambience and create a 3D impression.
- History: This site uses soft colors to suggest subtle differences between Oregon summers and winters.
It is a tongue-in-cheek concept that shows Oregonians do pretty much the same outdoor activities, rain or shine. The grays and green colors reflect the gray skies and green landscape common
in Oregon.

Name: Volcano Website
- Type: One page website mock up.
- Demonstrates: the advantages of using photoshop to enhance a web page. Photoshop was used to render the background, rollover buttons, rollover photos,
and custom typography design for title.
- History: This is an informative site meant to have linked pages for each type of volcanic eruption. It was designed to emulate a volcanic experience: the background conveys the imposing size of a volcano; the title typeface gives the impression of volcanic heat reflecting, lifting, and partially melting the letters; the buttons light up like embers on rollover; the text color is reminiscent of obsidian or ash.

Name: Mexican Folk Art Website
- Type: One page website mockup.
- Demonstrates: a commercially-oriented web page template that is meant to have linked pages for the different types of folk art. The balanced design portrays a solid organization; and the bright colors convey a festive ambiance.
- History: This site is integrates text and photographs in an organized, attractive way. The three bands of colors reflect the Mexican flag and the pictures were selected to portray the optimistic, mystical side of Mexican culture. The typeface was selected to show the earthy undertones of the folk art.

Name: Green Energy Website
- Type: One page website mockup.
- Demonstrates: a complex design that attracts different personality types; technical use of text links and photo links.
- History: This site portrays the idea of extending beyond traditional bounds and finding novel conceptual approaches to the problem of green energy. The green valley and sunlight reflection attracts philosophical philanthropists; the middle diagram attracts mathematical-minded economists; the photos at the bottom attract constructive industrialists. The enlarged view of the valley at the top gives the impression of thinkng-outside-of -the-box, and attracts creative minds. The links were chosen to challenge independent thinkers. The bold type delivers a few bottom lines that can be taken away by the casual viewer.
