MEASUREMENT:
It is the responsibility of every competitor to make sure his or her boat, sail, and equipment measure to the IC Technical regulations for the Inter Club Dinghy Class, effective January, 1998, or as prescribed by the Regatta Measurement Committee. The bow tip weight rule shall be enforced. Sails must be stamped by your Fleet Measurer. In order to expedite the Registration process, we are encouraging all competitors to complete the Measurement Certificate which has been enclosed with this Notice of Race. This certificate must be signed by an Official Fleet Measurer. The IC Technical Committee has endorsed this effort. Certificates will be collected and put on file at Registration. Measurement equipment and personnel will be available on site. Skipper and crew (in full sailing gear and with any necessary additional weights) must weigh-in before sailing.
The Measurement Committee reserves the right to measure any boats at random during the regatta. The top five boats shall be measured by the Measurement Committee. Skipper and crew may be required to weigh in after the completion of sailing.
