Furry Friends & More

Because folks see our designs and start wondering about the people behind the stitches, we're often asked, "What do you two look like?"  When people see our cat designs, they also wonder aloud, "What do your cats look like?"

While we may not have a photo of ourselves to share with you,   we do have a few of the feline members of the household. They, after all, are the ones who rule the roost, it's only right they should be featured before us.

Moshe Isadore, "The Tiger Prince"

Moe is shown here in a rare moment of repose. Normally, he's chatting with Tisha (yes, he's a talker, that guy), chasing any number of toys throughout the house, playing with his yellow Fortune Cookies from Cat Faeries, dragging the "Stitching Whip" about, clamoring for more Science Diet or secretly poking his furry orange paws into Tisha's iced tea. (What she doesn't know, won't hurt her! Oooooops...too late!)

Mika the Beautiful

This is Moe's sister, who got all the beauty because he got all the brains. She's a bit daft, our sweetie, but she's fifteen (or so!) pounds of pure love and beauty. (Unless it's bath time, when she becomes 15 pounds of teeth and bad temper!) Like Moe, she spends her time getting spoiled to the max. We often hear her battle cry into the wee hours of the morning, as she drags her favorite toy around the house. She'll also steal anything shiny -- pens, watches and more. The last time we moved the sofa, we found 172 cat toys underneath!

The Baby.jpg (27823 bytes)

Munchkin, "The baby 'ten"

Munchkin was our baby kitten, who literally walked up and adopted us outside our home in 1991. She was so tiny and stayed very small. After the Northridge earthquake, she insisted Tisha carry her continuously for  three weeks following the quake -- because she was so little and earthquakes are so big! Because of a problem with inoperable staghorn kidney stones, she was only with us until April, 1998.  Not a day goes by that she isn't in our thoughts. Moe, especially, still mourns her passing. We still miss you very much, honey.
