Images from the March 22 Anti-War March in New York An amazingly large and energetic crowd filled Broadway for miles. Here are a few pictures (I've put them in approximately chronological order; if you want to see the BIG collage of photos I made, click here):

Lots of banners, lots of signs

A creative use of oil company merchandise

I ran into a group of bicyclists against the war, and, since I was on my bike, I joined them for a bit.

(By the way, all these shots are around Union Square; my other photos are from farther south on Broadway.)

The men in blue. I heard there were some scuffling and arrests but I personally saw no bad behavior on the part of the police.

My compadres

This a shot of the crowd moving towards Washington Square Park.

And my favorite rally shirt

Finally, I ran into my friend James all dressed up for the show.
