Visiting hours
SUNDAY
9:00 A.M. - 11:30 A.M.
12:30 P.M. - 2:30 P.M.
Visits are officially 15 minutes long. The Deputy Sheriff in charge of the visiting room may modify this time if circumstances justify it. For example, light visitation, no waiting line, etc. Special visits (those other than for the times listed above) for out-of-state visitors must be requested at least 24 hours in advance so that security arrangements may be made.
Rules of Conduct for Visitors
All visitors are subject to search upon entering the visiting area. No weapon of any kind or illegal substance may be brought into the facility. Any visitor who is intoxicated or smells of an alcoholic beverage may be banned from visiting or arrested. Visitors are to remain orderly and will follow the Deputy Sheriff's instructions. No revealing or inappropriate clothing is to be worn. Two visitors may visit with an inmate and must arrive at the same time. Children under the age of six must remain outside the visiting room. Only visitors are allowed in the visiting room. Those providing rides or accompanying visitors must remain outside the visiting room. This and any other issue will be determined by the Deputy Sheriff on duty.
Items which may be accepted any time for inmates are listed as follows:
Cash money, money orders, business checks, government checks
First Class mail addressed to inmate
Legal Materials related to inmate's court case
Prohibited Items for inmates
Inmates are provided by the Jail with shirt & pants (or jumpsuit), slippers, socks, and shorts. No clothing is needed nor will be accepted. No batteries, stamps, personal hygiene products, food, or printed materials may be brought in or sent in. Batteries, stamps, personal hygiene products, snacks, and the like are available through a weekly in-house canteen.
