The Publix supermarkets in the southeast offer free Publix Baby Club^® membership for expectant parents or parents with children under 2 years old. Publix will send you a child care book (valued $18.95) plus about $35 worth of free coupons for baby care and baby food products. You will also revceive discount coupons for future purchases. Kroger has a special offer for parents. You will get one bonus point for every dollar spend on baby-items. For every 100 bonus points, a $10 gift certificate will be sent. All you have to do is save the receipts and send them in a special envelope. These special envelopes can be found in the baby section of the supermarket.

Tom Thumb in Texas has a "Stork Club" for new and expectant parents. You can sign up three months before the baby is born and they will send you discount coupons on baby items. You call them after your baby is born; they will deliver a huge basket filled with baby products and a yard sign announcing your baby's birth. In addition, for three months before and three months after the baby's birth, you can get up front parking...right next to the handicap spaces.
