Today we picked up our daughter at the baby home. It started out by going to the Moscow registration office to pick up our adoption decree. From there we went to the Lobnya city hall to pick up her birth certificate and buy a few things in Lobnya. The photos of and from the pedestrian bridge were taken while we were waiting for her adoption decree to be prepared nearby.

The white building in the center is there Russian White House. This building was fired on by tanks during a coup attempt somewhere around 1992. The photo at right are some buildings on the banks of the Moscow River.

The tall building in the center of the first picture is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I don't know what that boat is in the second picture.

Tolstoy watching the girls walk by and the sign when you enter Lobnya. As you can see, the afternoon weather improved greatly. It seems almost every day you have a period when it's overcast or a few clouds that produce sun showers.

"Producti" where I stopped to buy some goodies for a little celebrating at the baby home and a florist I also stopped at down the road. The one with the glasses in front of the store is our translator, Ellya. I never realized how big on flowers the Russians are. They have incredible assortments of flowers everywhere.
