Dedicated to furthering the participation of homeschoolers in extracurricular activities at their local public schools

Call your state Representative and Senator and ask them to co-sponsor or at least support the new bills pending in the state House and Senate to make equal access law to protect all homeschoolers. Tell the legislators that this legislation makes sense and will improve life for all our students. It should be a right for homeschoolers to try out for sports teams, band, music, theatrical productions and so on. The notion that a majority on any given school board simply doesn't like homeschooling or the partnership under equal access, is not a reason to discriminate against these hardworking youngsters who are part of the very community. This is a time for building bridges. In Pennsylvania, Senate President Robert Jubelirer and Representatives Robert Godshall and Mark McNaughton are the champions in Harrisburg fighting for equal access for homeschoolers. Pass the word.
