Snake Dancers

by Joy Wulke, 1989

An excellent example of how discarded and fragmented elements of the products of an industrial society can provide a stunning visual effect as controlled by the aesthetic sensibilities of an outstanding artist.

Joy Wulke was born in San Bernadino, California in 1948. She received an architectural degree from Washington State and a Masters degree in Environmental Design from Yale University. Her work has been exhibited at the Louisiana World's Fair in 1984, the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1981, and various private collections throughout the country.
