The four three-sided towers are fifteen feet tall, built out of computer circuit boards attached to an aluminum frame. Interior fluorescent lights illuminate the translucent surfaces.
The circuit boards' original cost was about one thousand dollars each, and ten years ago were "state of the art". Today they are discarded as worthless because of technological discoveries and advances. The artist has recycled the rubbish of past technology into a thing of pure beauty, producing the art of our time.
Steve Adam Simon was born in Los Angeles in 1959 and has participated in art exhibitions throughout Southern California.
