The Wheel to Live

by Layne Redmond, 1988

The artist writes:
"This painting is constructed with a rhythmical lighting system that is embedded in its surface. To watch this painting is to experience the sequencing of the light patterns. The cyclical patterns of light are created by using one to five way flashing sequences.

"If you get the same sense of joy from watching them as I, the artist has created -- for you -- a successful work of art."
