Please join us in congratulating the 2003 recipients for their academic and athletic achievements.

The Rockets Scholarship Program was initiated in the spring of 2001. Our program wanted to recognize and reward our program graduates for their achievements as student athletes, and to assist them financially as they continue their education at the collegiate level.  Awards will be given annually upon our athletes’ graduation from High School and prior to their entry into College. A volunteer committee made up of representatives from each age group schedule events to fund our scholarship awards. Their tireless efforts, the generosity of local businesses, families within our program, and supporters, have made our Silent Auction Fund Raising Event a resounding success.

In May of 2001, based on funds raised at the Silent Auction, the Board of Directors voted that the 2001, 2002 and 2003 award be $200.00 for each year of service the athletes have been in our program. Future awards will be determined based on the results of Scholarship fund raising activities.
