Right Out of the Shops!
"This is an RPI/F&C kit (F&C now catalogs this kit themselves) of the Rutland "4 window" caboose. The only things I changed on the kit were to substitute Taurus Products caboose ladders for the supplied parts, Central Valley Trucks with old leaf springs (probably Walthers) and Kadee couplers. I painted it with a mix of Floquil: 1/2 boxcar red, 1/2 caboose red, my version of Rutland "cherry" red. Decals were provided with the kit."
