2. James William (Bill)² Crawford (James Dillard¹) (#1018) was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia November 24, 1880. James died March 26, 1962 at 81 years of age.

He married Zora Babel Miller in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, December 20, 1905. (Zora Babel Miller is #719.) Zora was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia November 20, 1884. Zora was the daughter of Alexander (Pomp) Miller and Annie Maria Jennings. Zora died November 07, 1949 at 64 years of age.

James William (Bill) Crawford and Zora Babel Miller had the following children:

4 i. Ava Madelyn³ Crawford (#1021) was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia May 09, 1914. She married James (Jimmy) Norton Gleason in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, November 04, 1933. (James (Jimmy) Norton Gleason is #1022.) James was born in Richmond, Virginia October 22, 1913. James is the son of Willie Russell Gleason and Mary Lena Seay. 5 ii. Beverly Liona Peters Crawford (#1053) was born in Lynchburg, Lynchburg, Virginia March 20, 1928. She married Roy Edward Drummond in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, May 11, 1946. (Roy Edward Drummond is #1054.) Roy was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia March 25, 1924. Roy is the son of William Milton Drummond and Ruby Blanch Burford.
