30. Leroy Powhatan (Peter)⁵ Jennings (John William⁴, John William³, Benjamin², James¹) (#1497) was born in Appomattox County, Virginia Novermber 23, 1841. Leroy died May 18, 1919 in Mineola, Texas, at 77 years of age. His body was interred in Mineola, Texas.

He married twice. He married Isabel White August 10, 1865. (Isabel White is #1553.) Isabel died April 12, 1883. He married Sarah Ellen Clements in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, October 29, 1884. (Sarah Ellen Clements is #1565.) Sarah was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia July 29, 1863. Sarah was the daughter of James P. (Lanlord) Clements and Eliza Jane Allen. Sarah died December 27, 1951 in Mineola, Wood, Texas, at 88 years of age. Her body was interred in Mineola, Wood, Texas.

Leroy served in the military in Buffalo Springs, Virginia, April 29, 1861.

71 xi. Leroy Carrington Jennings (#1568) was born in Amherst County, Virginia September 21, 1888. Leroy died February 19, 1931 at 42 years of age. He married Fairie Stevens May 10, 1923. (Fairie Stevens is #1569.)

72 xii. Hilda Lillian Jennings (#1570) was born in Texas September 24, 1890. Hilda died May 19, 1977 at 86 years of age. She married twice. She married Ed Stevens September 25, 1912. (Ed Stevens is #1571.) She married W. E. Graham October 9, 1919. (W. E. Graham is #1572.)

73 xiii. Henry Merriweather Jennings (#1573) was born in Texas July 13, 1893. He married Jennye Lynn Condway December 28, 1913. (Jennye Lynn Condway is #1574.)

74 xiv. Jannie Eliza Jennings (#1575) was born in Texas May 22, 1895. Jannie died July 4, 1977 at 82 years of age.

75 xv. Clarence Jennings (#1576) was born in Texas June 3, 1897. He married Justine Hunt December 20, 1922. (Justine Hunt is #1577.)

76 xvi. Bernardine Jennings (#1578) was born in Texas June 30, 1899. Bernardine died July 28, 1976 at 77 years of age. She married Henry Summer October 6, 1919. (Henry Summer is #1579.)

77 xvii. Lucille Jennings (#1580) was born in Texas February 27, 1901. She married P. Pollard April 4, 1920. (P. Pollard is #1581.)

78 xviii. Leona Velma Jennings (#1582) was born in Texas March 2, 1904. She married V. B. Watson August 16, 1925. (V. B. Watson is #1583.)
