He married twice. He married Clara L. Moore December 25, 1948. (Clara L. Moore is #377.) Clara is the daughter of Henry Moore and Mrs Moore. He married Mary R. Duff November 24, 1973. (Mary R. Duff is #386.) Mary was born April 14, 1941. Mary is the daughter of George Duff and Mrs Duff.

Joseph Allen Whitten and Clara L. Moore had the following children:
