The Art of Happiness3/27: During a trip to Maine, finished reading the Dalai Lama's "Art of Happiness".

3/24: Attended a lecture at the BPL by Rebecca Barnes, Chief Planner at the Boston Redevelopment Authority, who got a record 801 "ummms" out in a 93-minute presentation. That's one "ummm" every seven seconds for an hour and a half, by an allegedly well-educated designer!

3/23: Albers: Homage to the SquareCaught the very tail end of a Krakow Gallery show by Josef Albers, famous author of "Interaction of Color".

3/22: I must be a homeowner; I replaced my toilet flapper myself...

3/18: Watch City Brewing CompanyVisited Waltham's Watch City Brewing Co. with Inna and sampled their interesting Skye High Scotch Ale.

Dargon3/13: Sent out DargonZine 17-2, which features "Sweet Healing", my first Dargon story in five years!

Alex Krieger2/26: Attended a lecture at the BPL that was an unabashed sales pitch for the Urban Ring by Boston developer Alex Krieger.

2/24: Spent Jeanie's birthday antiquing and eating at Magnolia Cafe and Rudy's BBQ before hopping a plane home the next morning.

2/23: Quiet day, but a tasty Indian dinner with Jeanie at Sarovar.

2/20: Travelled to Austin, had diner with my friend Jeanie at Bone Daddy's BBQ.

2/18:Contract gig Completed an enjoyable short-term contract gig, my first real work effort in two years!

2/17:US DOT Posted public comments on the NHTSA proposal to extend the federal fuel economy standards to cover SUVs.

2/7: Caught Pressure CookerBurning Fence at Johnny D's with Inna and picked up their new reggae instrumental album "Burning Fence".

2/6: Went to MoS for an "Aerodynamics Center for Sports Innovation of Sports" lecture by Dr. Kim Blair of MIT's Center for Sports Innovation.

Weebl2/5: Went to MIT to see a panel discussion featuring Weebl Badger& Skoo, creators of Weebl & Bob as well as the infectious Badger, Badger clip, plus Something PositiveRandy Milholland, the creator of the quality Something Positive.
