9/26: Went to an SRO
interview at the Kennedy Presidential Library of its designer, I. M. Pei, whose work includes the Hancock Tower and an expansion of the Louvre, by Pulitzer-winning Boston Globe architecture critic Robert Campbell.
9/24: Had fun meeting some folks at the monthly PolyBoston meeting at the Diesel.
9/22: At Harvard Coop, attended a talk by Eli Jaxon-Bear, author of "Sudden Awakening: Into Direct Realization" and founder of the Leela Foundation.
9/20: Who would respond to an automobile killing
a cyclist by calling a meeting about pedestrian signs and crosswalks, and then tell the hundred-odd cyclists who showed up that bicycle safety issues were out of scope of the discussion? Boston City Councilors Jerry McDermott and Rob Consalvo, that's who. Thanks, guys.
9/11: Visited the Druid in Inman Square for the first time to have some beers & play dominoes with new (hopefully non-lame) friend Hiti.
9/9: Despite my lame-assed friends cancelling out, still went out and saw the Toasters and Pietasters at the Middle East with a very non-lame Inna.
9/7: At the first graphic design class of the semester at NESAD, I discovered that I'm on the cover of the NESAD continuing ed fall catalog!

7/17: Got the 2004 Dargon Summit off right, with a blacksmithing demo. Afterwards, visited the Columbia River Gorge's 176-foot Horsetail and 620-foot Multnomah Falls, then the group caught the sunset at Vista House, 733 feet above the river.
7/16: Got a bit lost while riding mountainous MHCC Stage 5, but still had a great 60-mile ride out to Lost Lake.
7/15: Rented a bike and rode 3 of the 5 stages in Oregon's Mount Hood Cycling Classic, then went up to the Cloud Cap Inn on the slopes of Mt. Hood with my fellow DargonZine writers.
7/11: Capped a 275-mile biking week with a ride out to a Where's George gathering in Lexington.
7/3: Just one month before the PMC, was taken down by the guy in front of me on a Quad Cycles ride.
7/1: After watching the orbital insertion of NASA's Cassini-Huygens spacecraft, attended a lecture on it at the BPL.
