Khumbu Glacier: from Kala Pattar, the impressive Khumbu Glacier can be seen as it extends toward Lobuche.  Some people can be seen in the foreground left, climbing up the trail from Gorak Shep.  The Changri Shar Glacier can be seen from beyond the lower ridge of Kala Pattar, and Ama Dablam can be seen in the background.
