1 tsp lemon extract or 1 tsp rum extract
(optional)
2 sticks butter
2 1/2 cups flour
Steps
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Cream the butter and sugar together in a mixer.
Add the flour, the vanilla (and lemon or rum),
and the egg yolks. Mix.
Either roll and cut into thin circles
(approximately 1/4 inch thick) or use a cookie press to stamp out
cookies. Remember to follow the cookie press instructions in
chilling the dough and using a cold not-non-stick surface.
Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 7 to 10
minutes or until the edges turn light brown.
