Futile Resistance

Warning: If you don't like stories that stray from canon - you probably won't like the twists and turns of Futile Resistance. There are some surprises here that won't sit well at all with those of you who don't like character backgrounds that aren't supported by canon.

Summary: Deanna has followed her Betazoid heritage and is engaged to the son of the Second House. Both are returning to Betazed in her hour of need as the planet and her people struggle against the Dominion forces who threaten to defeat the peace loving telepaths. The ruling house has pinned all its hopes for its survival on one man - the Imzadi of the Next in Line of the Fifth House.
