Cross-site Collaboration

Collaboration is a process of value creation.  It is the way people work together to deliver results.  This means project leaders and contributors are always balancing the need to achieve technical goals, and the need for an effective human system of interaction.  Language and conversation are the medium of human interaction; therefore opportunities for informal interactions, both face-to-face and in electronic space are critical success factors.  Cross-site collaboration adds complexity to work in four important areas:
