Church School News

We've just completed rotations on the Miracles of Jesus and the Walk to Emmaus. After worship on April 3rd, 10th, and 17th, children and parents learned more about the Godly Play curriculum in the vestry. The Christian Growth committee invites any interested individuals to attend a Godly Play Spring Training Event at the Community Church of Durham (U.C.C.) on Saturday, May 21st from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Please speak with Elizabeth for more information.

Confirmation Program

Our program continued throughout April with a special film night at Bixler and a tour of the church with Marilyn Easton. We are gathering for our final meetings in the coming days in preparation for Confirmation Sunday on May 15th. Please join us for this service of celebration! The following 8th graders will be participating: Calvin Engle, Laura Matlack, Daniel Hoene, Matilda Lauermann, and Nathan Urbanowski. We offer sincere gratitude to this year's mentors: Alison Hobbie, Steve Sanborn, Tom Bergeron, and Mark Swanson.

Third through Fifth Grade Group

  • 3rd-5th grade Lock-in at the Church
  • Friday, May 13th - Saturday, May 14th
  • 8:00 p.m. - 9:00 a.m.
  • Bring a sleeping bag, pillow, pajamas, and dessert to share! We'll provide games, movie, and breakfast! Invite a friend! Please speak with the Hobbies or Elizabeth for more information.

Middle School Group

    Saturday, May 21st
  • 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.
  • Indoor Rock Climbing at Vertical Dreams in Manchester
  • Meet at Bixler House at 6:00 p.m.

High School Youth Group

Many thanks to everyone who supported fundraising efforts by ordering Easter pies and attending the pancake breakfast! Take a look at the weekly worship bulletin for more information on our upcoming fundraisers.
