Rutland Milk Car No. 338 is pictured at what is probably Yard 10 in Somerville, Massachusetts on an unknown date. On the left is a Rutland or New York Central milk car while on the right can be seen a conventional express reefer, judging by the ice hatch on the roof. Much of the cream that came into Boston was actually from the midwestern states, perhaps explaining the presence of the express reefer.
