* One source states that these cars were built by Osgood Bradley.
Milk Car Roster Notes:
- SUF refers to a wood car rebuilt with a steel underframe.
- Builders: MDT-Merchants Despatch, East Rochester, N.Y.
SSC-Standard Steel Car
OB- Osgood Bradley, Worcester, Mass.
ACF- American Car & Foundry
- "1947", "1950" and "1953" refer to the existence of a
particular car in the respective "Official Register of Passenger Car Equipment"
or Rutland list of equipment. In some cases it is not possible to determine the
existence of a particular car, only the quantity of cars still extant in a series.
- Omissions and errors are inevitable. Please send corrections and additions to Jim Dufour.
