5. James P. (Lanlord)² Clements (John H.¹) (#78) was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia August 04, 1823. James died March 13, 1924 in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, at 100 years of age. His body was interred in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, Mt. Horeb Cemetery.

He married twice. He married Eliza Jane Allen April 23, 1852. (Eliza Jane Allen is #79.) Eliza was born in Tennessee May 28, 1827. Eliza was the daughter of Thomas Oliver Allen and Mary Garnette Tinsley. Eliza died November 26, 1899 at 72 years of age. Her body was interred in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, Mt. Horeb Cemetery. He married Mary Francis Allen in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, December 19, 1901. (Mary Francis Allen is #481.) Mary was born March 15, 1829. Mary was the daughter of Thomas Oliver Allen and Mary Garnette Tinsley. Mary died February 12, 1927 at 97 years of age. Her body was interred in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, Mt. Horeb Cemetery.

James P. (Lanlord) Clements and Eliza Jane Allen had the following children:

+ 12 v. Charles Wesley Clements was born November 20, 1858.

13 vi. Mary Jane Clements (#77) was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia December 21, 1858. Mary died April 18, 1937 at 78 years of age. Her body was interred in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, Whitten Family Cemetery. She married Augustus Devereaux (Dev) Whitten November 1874. (Augustus Devereaux (Dev) Whitten is #76.) Augustus was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia May 05, 1855. Augustus was the son of Joab Whitten and Mary Francis Allen. Augustus died May 31, 1916 at 61 years of age. 15 viii. ? Clements (#2488) was born October 9, 1861. ? died in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia.

16 ix. Sarah Ellen Clements (#1565) was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia July 29, 1863. Sarah died December 27, 1951 in Mineola, Wood, Texas, at 88 years of age. Her body was interred in Mineola, Wood, Texas. She married Leroy Powhatan (Peter) Jennings in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, October 29, 1884. (Leroy Powhatan (Peter) Jennings is #1497.) Leroy was born in Appomattox County, Virginia Novermber 23, 1841. Leroy was the son of John William Jennings Jr and Elizabeth A. Vernon. Leroy died May 18, 1919 in Mineola, Texas, at 77 years of age. 17 x. Lillie Belle Clements (#1920) was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia April 6, 1866. Lillie died February 12, 1940 at 73 years of age. Her body was interred in Lexington, Virginia, Stonewall Jackson Cemetery. She married George William Womeldorf December 15, 1887. (George William Womeldorf is #2015.) George was born March 23, 1861. George was the son of William Womeldorf and Katherine Shaner. George died September 12, 1928 at 67 years of age. (See George William Womeldorf for the continuation of this line.)

18 xi. Willie Clements (#1921) was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia July 16, 1867. Willie died March 22, 1908 at 40 years of age. Her body was interred in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, Mt. Horeb Cemetery. She married James William (John) Clements February 13, 1896. (James William (John) Clements is #2029.) James was born April 20, 1866. James was the son of John I Clements and Isabella F Clements. James died June 2, 1904 at 38 years of age. 20 xiii. Annie Eliza Clements (#1923) was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia November 4, 1872. Annie died March 19, 1929 at 56 years of age. She married Willoughby Johnson Black. (Willoughby Johnson Black is #2042.) Willoughby was born in Palmyra, Fluvana, Virginia March 30, 1866. Willoughby was the son of James Cole Black and Sophia Mayberry Norcross. Willoughby died November 4, 1944 in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, at 78 years of age. His body was interred in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, Mt. Horeb Cemetery.
