10. Richard Bernard³ Whitten (Augustus Devereaux (Dev)², Joab¹) (#81) was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia October 10, 1878. Richard died March 12, 1962 at 83 years of age.

He married Nattie Riddle July 06, 1920. (Nattie Riddle is #212.) Nattie was born October 24, 1898. Nattie was the daughter of James Thomas and Annie Maude Meade Riddle. Nattie died April 18, 1970 at 71 years of age.

Richard Bernard Whitten and Nattie Riddle had the following child:

55 i. Mary Anne⁴ Riddle (#215) was born November 12, 1929. She married William Gordon Karch August 18, 1951. (William Gordon Karch is #216.) William was born February 22, 1929. William is the son of Horton Schroeder and Gladys Amelia (Wedgewood) Pratt Karch. (See William Gordon Karch for the continuation of this line.)
