6/6: The 1999 DargonZine Writers' Summit took place in New York City. Hosted by Alan Lauderdale, this is DargonZine's annual convention, brainstorming session, and social event. Highlights included climbing the World Trade Center and visiting the Cloisters, a medieval museum in Fort Tryon Park. Check it out! 5/22: To further celebrate her birthday, Inna held a party at her place. 5/20: Celebrated Inna's birthday by attending an amateur music night, organized by her friend Morganne. 5/8: Graced a formal soiree in honor of the Upper Crust at the Linwood, a mere 700 feet from Le Maison Orni. 5/8: DargonZine 12-5 was distributed. 5/7: Amateur poetry / music / storytelling night at Morganne's, featuring Inna playing Erik Satie's "Gnossiennes". 5/2: Despite only having half the band after a major car accident, Bucket & Co. put on a fine show at the Middle East. 4/25: Closed out arts week by seeing master percussionist Evelyn Glennie at the New England Conservatory. |

4/23: After dinner at Jacob Wirth's, caught the acclaimed Alvin Ailey American modern dance group. 4/22: Sapient again beat stock market analysts' quarterly earnings estimates! 4/21: Visited Symphony Hall for the first time and saw acclaimed pianist Murray Perahia. 4/17: Arts week begins! Heard Schola Cantorum perform 11 different compositions of the Salve Regina. 4/17: In DargonZine 12-4 we announced the availability of 31 more back issues in HTML format, and our pre-issue ping vote. 4/13: Attended lecture at the BPL on "The Information Age: New Dimensions for US Foreign Policy" by journalist and CSIS senior advisor Arnaud de Borchgrave. 4/13: What better symbol of the return of the Red Sox and their asshole fans than drunk townies pissing in the middle of your street after the home opener? |
