3/29: After picking up my bike after a major overhaul, joined more than 25,000 other protesters in a march opposing the war on Iraq.

3/22: Started the Ornyday with a miserably raw and damp 28-mile Massbike tour of the Neponset River Trail. Larger photo here. Ended the day with dinner at Boston Beer Works and billiards with Matt & Nicole.

3/21: DargonZine finally openedDargon its record ninteenth year with DargonZine 16-1. Read the Editorial to see a long, impressive list of major improvements we've made recently!

3/21: LovewhippedWent to Johnny D's with Atticus to see Beat Soup play a 20-minute set, opening up for the surreal and ambiguous music school band Lovewhip.

3/20: Lunch with Sha at Irish pub Sólás, then spent the equinox in my first-ever war protest march, along with about 5,000 others.

Waiting for Godot3/19: Read Beckett's surreal "Waiting for Godot". Nothing to be done.

Sculpture3/17: Rode 32 miles out to the DeCordova Museum & Sculpture Park and back, breaking 6000 miles on my bike.

Poster3/15: Revisited the German Graphic Design exhibit at MassArt with Matty.

The Way of Zen3/12: Finished my first reading into Zen Buddhism with Alan Watts' "The Way of Zen".

3/7: Dinner at Sunset with Inna, Matty, and Nicole, and saw a small portion of the Allstonians show at the Common Ground.

2/26: Helped surprise my buddy Matty for his DOB by taking him to watch Isiah & Tinsleythe Pacers extend their 6-game slide by losing to the Celtics. Now I've seen the Pacers lose to the Celts three times in a row… Humungous thanks go to Nikki for providing free club-level tickets!!!

2/22: Weekend trip to Maine.

1/29: Saw renowned type designer Matthew CarterMatthew Carter speak at MassArt. Carter's amazing work includes ITC Galliard, Bell Centennial, and Microsoft Typography's Verdana, Tahoma, Georgia, and Nina screen fonts.

1/28: Received my grades from my first portfolio review at NESAD.

1/25: Arboretum in winterBiked down to the Arnold Arboretum, where the Boston Park Rangers led a tour of my favorite area: the conifer section.

Reggie Miller1/17: Looked on as future hall of famer Reggie Miller and the Indiana Pacers allowed the Celtics to get away with another one at the Fleet Center.

Dargon1/17: After 18 years without it, DargonZine finally sought publicity by placing its first commercial advertisement, on Google.

1/14: Read Alan Watt's fabulous "The Wisdom of Insecurity", Wisdom of Insecuritywhich clearly draws the parallel between Zen Buddhism and Existentialism, and does the best job I've ever seen of demonstrating the postive transformational power of an Existentialist approach to life.

1/14: Once again registered PMCfor the Pan-Mass Challenge, my annual cycling fundraiser for the Jimmy Fund and Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

NESADSU1/13: A fearfully busy spring semester begins at the New England School of Art & Design.

1/12: Just in time for the opening of the I-90 connector, The Big DigI finally got around to reading Dan McNichol's "The Big Dig" after receiving a copy as a gift.

Photoshop 7 For Photographers1/10: Enhanced my digicam skills by reading the absolutely exceptional "Adobe Photoshop 7.0 For Photographers".

1/10: Salon interviewed Marshall Miller, Salonactivist acquaintance and founder of the Alternatives to Marriage Project, in their article "Unwedded bliss".

1/8: Spent the evening with Blinke at Trident.

1/3: Caught local ska grandaddies the Allstonians at the Common Ground.

Ultraclamp1/2: Received my Pedco Ultraclamp, a handlebar camera mount with a universal joint! Sweet!

1/2: Completed William Barrett's influential 1958 "Irrational Man", Irrational Manwhich puts Existentialism in perfect context within the historical evolution of western philosophy.
