Will Swift has had a passionate interest in royal history and genealogy since
childhood. When he was twelve he pestered his mother until she drove
him 30 miles to a bookstore to buy the new Wheeler-Bennett
biography of King George VI. He has been selling royal autographs
since he opened the Royalty Bookshop in Manhattan in 1981. He
founded the Royalty Collectors Association of North America in
1982 and edited their collecting journal, Sceptre. During that time
he arranged an exhibition at Bloomingdales of royal commemoratives
and autographs as part of the “Britain Salutes New York”
celebrations. He has also written for Majesty Magazine. In his other
life, he is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in private practice.
