jury duty

I served my jury duty today for the first time. It wasn't too bad, though I had to trek out to Marlboro. In a way, that ended up being a good part of it -- I went somewhere new and the courtroom had a nice view of some pretty trees. I was impaneled, but after we heard the opening statements they decided to settle the case without continuuing with the trial, so they sent us home.

Ezra is picking up pictures from John's wedding (hopefully there will be some good ones -- most of the ones I took will be through a wine-induced haze, I imagine). There should also be some pictures from Barcelona in there.

Ezra's family will be up again this weekend for the ballet. We're going tomorrow night -- it's more fun to go at night.

Edie is making a ton of noise... jumping from a bucket into the tub and back out again. Cats.
