Professions
As what breed is chosen will signify how the character's abilities are rendered,
so will the applied profession. There are 12 different profession alternatives
in the game, and they will all strongly determine how the final character
will perform.
The
Fixer
The Fixer is the profession to contact if you want something on Rubi-Ka that
is a bit unusual. They are able to arrange matters. It could be
some stims that need to be smuggled into the city, a person that you don't
have connections to speak to, or to get something that isn't strictly yours.
The Fixer is a person that knows how to get things for the right price in
in the future urban society of Anarchy Online. On a mission the character
is good for disarming traps and opening locks. All in all, an extremely useful
character if you are willing to do things that isn't strictly legal. The fixer
is the transportation specialist. Using a method not to available to the other
professions the fixer can travel great distances alone of with his/her team.
.. in an instant (or semi instant). The fixer is especially good at picking
off enemies from a distance with rifles.

between cities to explore the deserts and get to know the breeds and monsters
living in the outback. An Adventurer must be willing to do some combat, but
cunning is often more important. The Adventurer is the yardstick which all
other professions are measured against. They know a little bit of everything,
but are not the most specialized. If you want to be a self-reliant character,
this might be your choice.

Bureaucrat
In the vast corridors of Omni-Tek, this is a much more dangerous profession
than it might seem. The political fights inside the bureaucracy often turn
ugly. A Bureaucrat is often proficient in a wide selection of theoretical
skills like healing, technology and nano. Also, they are experts on manipulation.
Using a swift tongue, nano-technology or simply skills, a Bureaucrat will
take control in most situations. They are often very charismatic, though their
names would suggest otherwise. Though not very adept at combat, he uses his
theoretical and manipulative superiority to get his way within the vast bureaucratic
channels on the planet.

on Rubi-Ka as Enforcers. There is an almost unlimited demand for strong, efficient
Enforcers in the Notum mines. Mining is hard work that prepares loyal Omni-Tek
employees for the conflict over the planet's future. Sometimes Enforcers end
up among the rebels.

Meta-Physicist
Even in an advanced futuristic world like Rubi-Ka, people believe there is
more to the world than what we can know. The Meta Physicist is a person who
has dedicated himself to understanding spiritual matters. In opposition to
the nano technician, the Meta-physicist believes that not everything about
the nano formulas can be explained with science. The Meta-physicist is like
sort of like a mystic, a priest with no specific religion other than the belief
in life and nano technology. By keeping a pure mind, they will be able to
manifest their thoughts in physical form and do amazing features with illusions
and mind tricks. He is basically a religious nano technician.
