This year make your vote count for....
|
Stronger Public Education
Do you want high-quality schools for your children? Are you concerned about the high-stakes, one-size-fits-all MCAS test that
could deny thousands of Mass. students a high school diploma? Campaign for the Labor Party's education ballot question this fall.
See the
Education Page
for details.

Universal Health Care
Tired of the state's "do-nothing" attitude toward universal health care? Strike a blow for a no-b.s./ straight-ahead, single-payer universal
health care system. Campaign for the Labor Party's "Just Health Care" proposal in your House or Senate District.
See the
Health Care Page
for the full story.

The Somerville Labor Party's ballot question for universal health care won 84% of the vote in last November's election. The group went door-to-door, distributed 12,000 flyers, and recruited new members to the party. Here, the Statue of Liberty presides over a pre-election rally in Davis Square. Thanks to all who contributed to cover the cost of the campaign. Photo by Bill Bumpus
