King Island Racer

The classic woodie with two separate ride experiences. Come take a ride on the original King Island Racer. When opened in 1972, this classic out and back coaster marked the start of a new roller coaster era. Since it's opening date, in 1972, the Racer has served almost 40,000,000 riders. The King Island Racer is 3,415 feet long and covers 5 acres. On the Racer you can ride facing either forwards or backwards. Experience an 88-foot drop and a top speed of 61 mph on this wooden terror. Don't miss your chance to catch air on this great coaster.
