TRYING OUT?

              HERE ARE SOME TIPS & FACTS!

We believe that we are good coaches and instructors and that we can teach you any required softball skill except a positive attitude. If you want to impress us today wear your positive attitude on your sleeve. In addition hustle! Hustle on the field, hustle off the field, hustle all the time!

Make your best attempt at every ball, throw as hard and as accurately as you can, run your fastest, and be aggressive when you’re batting. In short “leave it on the field.” Make your best effort. We don’t expect you to field every ball, make a perfect throw every time or crush every pitch. We want to see your positive attitude and your best effort.

Please take the time for a good warm up. If you’re not warmed up when your group is called, let us know. We will assign you to another group.

If you don’t understand what we are asking you to do at any time, please ask. We won’t think your stupid. We’ll think we did not communicate clearly.

TRYING OUT FOR MORE THAN ONE AGE GROUP

If you think you would like to “play up” you should tryout for more than one age group. For example: You are 16 and are interested in playing on the 18U team. Our advice is to tryout for both age groups. If you only tryout for one age group (team) that is the only team for which you will be considered.
