monchie has several interests that are kinda weird, or at least some folks consider them weird. first, he's got some strange tastes in music, like jazz, classical, and cajun & zydeco. oh yeah, he sorta likes the ramones and talking heads too.

monchie also loves trains. his dad worked for the railroad (to be exact, the pennsylvania railroad, as well as penn central and conrail), and monchie now proudly possesses a fine inherited collection of westinghouse air brake manuals. (monchie does wish his dad had taken some photos of those big red p.r.r. mu's.)

monchie is also fascinated by cities, particularly the two in which he has lived, new york and philadelphia. even though he grew up in a suburban town, he was always drawn by the bright lights. he could, however, do without the honking horns at 4a.m.
